Sebastien is looking to share the passion and care for MOOREA, an exquisite Kettenburg 43 from 1965 (designed and built by a famous boatbuilding family of San Diego, California) and moored at Bayswater Marina. She is a mahogany planked masthead sloop, has undergone substantial refurbishment over the past two decades (glassed decks roofs and cockpit, new engine, alloy mast and rigging, new furling gib, new raymarine autopilot, revarnich, etc…) and has been under Seb’s stewardship since 2020. She is the perfect and most gracious coastal cruiser. Built by Bob Wadhams at Cheltehnam Beach in 1959.

Sound keel, hull, rigging etc. New Furler and Headsail, Main only a few years old. Not looking for cash necessarily – perhaps anyone interested can make a donation to the DYC – letting her go as my ongoing back issues makes sailing a bit touch-and-go.

Perfect for youngsters looking for a fun way to sail. Currently on hard at DYC. Will finish antifoul and touch ups in next few weeks.

SOLD: Classic Woollcott Yacht

Looking for an experienced new owner and she is very rewarding on a marina berth! She’s very original – distinctive golden varnished masts, teak gratings, original teak decks, fully reconditioned engine done and installed by Pine Harbour Engineering (the lovely Charlie and Laura). I am putting her on the hardstand on Waiheke in the next few weeks if anyone wanted to view.
