  • Rangitoto Island Starboard,
  • Finish in an southerly direction between the finish boat and the eastern point of Waikalabubu Bay.

Alternative Islington Bay 8 miles

  • Start in an easterly direction at Devonport,
  • Browns Island Navy buoy Port,
  • Finish in a northerly direction between the finish boat and Islington Bay red buoy.
