- Start in an easterly direction at Devonport
- Islington Bay buoy Starboard
- Browns Island Navy buoy Port
- Passage Island (The Sisters) Port
- Finish in an easterly direction between the finish
boat and the Northern point of Ponui Head at Te Kawau Bay, Ponui
Island.
Alternative: Rocky Bay 12 miles
Course:
- Start in an easterly direction at Devonport
- Finish in an easterly direction between the finish
boat and the Southern headland of Rocky Bay.
