Course
- Start at Devonport in an easterly direction
- Whangaparaoa Passage Navy yellow buoy (Fl.Y 3 sec)
Port,
- Finish in a westerly direction between the finish
boat and Sadler Point at the Northern entrance to Mahurangi Harbour.
Special Notices
Safety: Attention is drawn to the General Sailing Instructions
regarding safety provisions.
Extras & Dinghies: Classic Yachts may carry extras or
dinghies in accordance with Classic Yacht Association rules.
Finish Boat: The finish boat will show a distinctive flashing
light and will be on station until 0200 Saturday 26th January. Boats
expecting to finish after 0200 are to call on Channel 62, before 0200, to
advise their position. Boats finishing after the finish boat has departed
are to take their own finishing times and advise the Sailing Committee by
1000 Saturday.
Postponement: The sailing committee may re-schedule the race to
Saturday 26th January, with first start 1000. Any such changes will be
recorded on the Clubs answerphone by 1200 Friday.
Alternative Ponui 19 miles
Course
- Start at Devonport in an easterly direction
- Motuihe Island to Port,
- Passage Rock (The Sisters) to port,
- Finish in an easterly direction between the finish
boat and Kauri Point Ponui Island.
Time Limit There is no time Limit.
After Race
Prize giving and BBQ at Scott's Landing 1800 Saturday.
(Beach at "Bottom End" If the alternative destination used)
