Rules:
Rules in the Notice of Race for the Cruising Series apply.
Objective:
The objective is to cross the finish line as soon as possible after 1400.
Start:
Start from wherever you like. At 1000 hours you must be outside a three
mile radius of the finish line and your engine must be shut-off.
Course:
Sail whatever course you like except that you must sail a proper course
direct to the finish line for the last half mile. Use whatever sails you
like. You may move your boat by paddling or towing your boat with your
dinghy.
Finish:
The finish line will be on the sheltered side of Motuihe Island and will
be confirmed on Channel 62 VHF at 1000.
Either: Finish
in a southerly direction between the finish boat and the Northern tip of
Motuihe Island. (westerly Conditions)
Or:
Finish in a northerly direction between the Finish boat and Motuihe Wharf.
(easterly conditions)
The winner is the first boat
to cross the finish line after 1400.

BBQ on the beach afterwards.
