The Devonport Yacht Club (Inc) offers members a unique
opportunity to belong to a club that has an enormous historical background steeped in the
sailing history of New Zealand, with a clubhouse that boasts one of the finest views of
the Waitemata Harbour.
It provides a range of facilities for it’s members,
including Racing, Family Cruising, Maintenance Facilities and Superb Dining on Friday
nights. The bar is open at the following times, so that you can relax and enjoy the view,
and watch the sunset over Auckland City.

These times are indicative and will
depend on patronage on the night.
A range of events are
planned over the coming season.
The Clubhouse is available for Private Functions. The costs for the use
of the clubhouse for functions are available from the Function
Co-ordinator.
All members of overseas Yacht Clubs, and visiting guests
are more than welcome to visit the club, and enjoy its superb location, and facilities.
Membership of
the club is open to all with an interest in Sailing. An active Associate Membership complements the
Family and Senior membership groups.
There are other categories of
membership. Full details on all aspects of membership can be
found in the Rules but they are
summarised here.
The Family Membership entitles the member, partner and any
children under 18 to full membership and all club privileges
such as haul-out, racing , clubhouse use, hire of dinghy lockers etc.
The Ordinary Membership is a single full membership (ordinary
member) with all the club privileges as
above.
Associate Membership is restricted to non boat owners and has
clubhouse use privileges only.
There is no joining fee and the annual subscriptions as at
July 2007 are as
